The Arizona Honeybee Festival is dedicated to bringing awareness to our community about the importance of honeybees to our lives. Honeybees in Arizona face many hurdles to survival from extreme heat in the summer to the dreaded Varroa destructor. Add to that the threat of extermination when they make homes in our personal spaces as well as the use of pesticides in our yards and farms. Our goal is to share ways that each one of us can play a role in helping honeybees survive, whether we live in an urban, suburban or rural setting. Come learn how you can help.
